This past week, while flying back from Las Vegas (where I lectured about the O-Shot ®), I read a book called “How CHILDREN SUCCEED, GRIT, CURIOSITY, and the HIdden POWER of CHARACTER.”
Turns out that instead of using flash cards with our children, the biggest determination of their success comes down to “character.”
Reading Psalms 118:14 , “The LORD is my strength and song, and is become my salvation,” you might say that you could retitle that book, “How adults and children succeed.”
I’ve noticed that people who make an effort to develop the virtues (even though they never find perfection)…tend to be healthier–stronger of mind and body.
That’s exactly what you’re practicing when you practice the 1,3,5 plan.
Peace & health,
